Are you confused by all the coupon jargon on this site or not quite sure what something means?   Here are the most common abbreviations we use when posting deals or weekly matchups.

Walgreens -

  • RR – Register Rewards (Triggers when purchasing certain items…Can only be used at Walgreens)
  • IVC – Instant Value Coupon (found in the Walgreens Easy Saver coupon booklet, usually by the store ads.

CVS –

  • ECB – Extra Care Bucks (Triggers when purchasing certain items…Can only be used at CVS and is like cash)
  • Limit "1" (or "2") – This is the number of times you can do a particular deal to receive Extra Care Bucks back.  For example, if there was a deal on Aveeno – Buy 3, get $5 ECB (limit 2), you could potentially purchase 6 in one transaction and receive $10 ECB back.  The limit is NOT the number of items your are limited to buy.
